If you don’t have cake flour, which is suggested, you can use all-purpose flour. Just substitute each cup of cake flour for a cup of all-purpose minus 2 tablespoons, adding 2 tablespoons of cornstarch. Replace buttermilk easily, as well. Add your dry ingredients to the wet bowl slowly, alternating with the buttermilk, making sure not to over-stir. Spray your pan with a non-stick spray and add all the ingredients.
